Holy Man Podcast - Episode 54 - Being a Peacemaker

Life Group Questions Episode 54:

1. We are talking about Peace, so what would be your favorite piece of pie?
2. Can you describe a relationship that is difficult because of contentiousness?
3. When is a time, or where is a place/relationship where you might be the one to cause some dissention or contentiousness? What tends to trigger this?
4. Read 1 Peter 3:8-12. How do each of the things we are called to do in verses 8-9 lead towards peace in our relationships?  What happens if we don’t practice them?   
5. Notice how in verse 10 it says ““If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days”, then follows in verse 11 with “Search for peace, and work to maintain it.” Tell about a time you didn’t enjoy life because peace was not on your mind.  Now tell about a time God led you to “search and work” for peace and were blessed because of it.
6. Bonus: Read John 17:20-26. What is Jesus praying that His followers will be?  What is his purpose for us being unified?(verse 23)  When/how do you see that working?
